THE RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM

Four services. One crew. Every season.

Most homeowners hire us once for a build, then keep us for the upkeep. Here is what that looks like in numbers.

BUILT FOR FAMILIES

Designed around how your family actually lives outside

A yard isn’t a showpiece — it’s where the kids play, the dog runs, and summer happens. Here are the questions Twin Cities homeowners ask us most, answered straight.

KIDS, DOGS, REAL LIFE

“Will it survive the kids and the dog?”

That’s the design brief, not a problem. Rounded wall caps, fire pit clearances, traffic-tolerant turf and plantings — every layout starts from how your family will actually use the space.

LOW-UPKEEP BY DESIGN

“We don’t want a yard we have to babysit.”

Low-upkeep is a design decision. Zone 4a-proven plants, smart irrigation, and hardscape built on a properly compacted base that doesn’t need re-leveling every spring.

AFTER THE INVOICE

“What happens after you’re paid and gone?”

We don’t disappear. The same crew runs lawn care, irrigation blowouts and seasonal cleanups — and your build carries a written warranty schedule, not a handshake.

We’ve built family yards across the Twin Cities south metro for 15+ years. Yours is next.

HOW HOMEOWNERS START

Three ways a residential project usually begins

Most families land in one of these three. Nothing here is a package you have to buy — it’s how the work tends to scope out.

The Focused Fix

$5K+

One area, done properly

Best for: a tired front entry, a settling walkway, or one bed that never took.

$5,000 – $15,000

MOST COMMON

The Full Backyard

$15–75K

Design the whole yard at once

Best for: families who want the patio, plantings, wall and lighting to finally work together.

$15,000 – $75,000

Build Then Maintain

Year-round

The same crew keeps it

Best for: homeowners who don’t want to hand the finished yard to a stranger.

Quoted per property

Every range is a starting point, not a quote. The number you get on the first visit is the one we build to.

SCOPE & PRICING

Everything a residential property needs, from one crew

No coordinating three vendors and hoping they talk to each other. This is the full list we handle in-house.

TYPICAL RESIDENTIAL RANGE

$5,000 – $75,000

Focused single-area work — one patio, one bed, a walkway — starts around $5,000. Full design-and-install projects typically run $15,000–$75,000 depending on scope and materials. You get real numbers on the first visit, line-item and in writing, plus a phased plan if you’d rather spread it across seasons.

WHY HOMEOWNERS SWITCH TO US

One crew, from the first sketch to the fall blowout

The reason most residential projects go wrong is handoffs. We removed them.

SUBCONTRACTORS ON YOUR PROPERTY

The people who quote your yard are the people who build it — and the people who come back.

Design, hardscape, plantings, irrigation and lighting are all run by our own in-house crew, with owners Nick and Brandon on site. Nothing is farmed out, so nothing gets lost between trades. When something needs a warranty visit three years later, you call the same number and the same crew shows up.

A written warranty schedule

Hardscape 5 years, trees 2, shrubs and perennials 1, water features 1, and landscape lighting fixtures 15. Published, not negotiated after the fact.

Industry norm: 30-day handshake

Built for Zone 4a, not a catalogue

Compacted aggregate bases that survive frost heave, and plant selections that are still alive in year three — not just on install day.

Real numbers on the first visit

Line-item pricing before you sign, and an honest answer if your budget and your wish list don’t match yet.

GOOD QUESTIONS

Residential questions, answered honestly

Focused single-area work — one patio, one bed, a walkway — starts around $5,000, and full design-and-install projects typically run $15,000–$75,000 depending on scope and materials. Lawn, irrigation and lighting programs are priced on their own pages. Every number is line-item in writing before you sign.

Yes. Many families design the whole yard once, then build it across two or three seasons — patio first, plantings and lighting later. You still get one cohesive design, and each phase carries its own written warranty.

That’s designed in from the first sketch: fire pit clearances, seat-wall heights, traffic-tolerant turf, and pondless water features with no standing water. Tell us how your family uses the yard and we’ll design to it.

Yes — weekly lawn maintenance, irrigation startup and fall blowout, and seasonal cleanups, all run by the same crew year-round. Most families move onto a care program after the build.

It’s a written schedule, not a handshake: hardscape 5 years, trees 2 years, shrubs and perennials 1 year, water features 1 year, and landscape lighting fixtures 15 years. If something fails inside its window, we come back — no invoice.

BUNDLE & SAVE

Most families combine two or three

Bundled work shares mobilisation and design time, so it costs less than booking each one separately.

Design + Lighting

Sleeve the wiring while the hardscape is open and the lighting install costs a fraction of retrofitting it later.

15-YR FIXTURE WARRANTY

Install + Irrigation

New plantings establish far better on a properly zoned system than on a hose and good intentions.

ZONED FOR YOUR SOIL

Build + Lawn Care

Keep the crews that built it. Weekly mowing, fertilization and cleanups by the people who know the property.
